Burning Questions
Questions. We all have them. Some of them are simple but some of them are big REALLY BIG. We seem to stumble into them as we follow Jesus. Sometimes they never get answered. Beginning in September, Journey Fellowship is going after them. The big questions, that need big answers. And YOU are supplying them.
Thanks to everyone who submitted your burning question. The teaching team is working hard to prepare the teaching series in answer to your questions. Here is the outline for the next two months. If your question was not selected for this sermon series, don’t worry! We are creating a Vlog on Youtube or Vimeo to answer the remaining questions.

September 12th- Christians and Security- Can our name be removed from the Book of Life?
September 19th- Christians and Homosexuality- Does the Bible call homosexuality and “abomination” or does the term used refer to pedophilia? Regardless, how would Jesus have us address the issue?
September 26th- Christians and Satan- Did God create Satan? If so, why would He create someone who would cause so much chaos? How much “power” does Satan really have?
October 3rd- Christians and War- Where does God stand when it comes to serving your country in a time of war?
How does the bible ask us to treat our political leaders?
Does a military serviceman represent the sins and faults of their country to other countries or have they answered a calling to be God’s hands overseas?
October 10th- Christians and Sin- When should we cut believers off b/c of sin? Should we treat non-believers differently than believers?
October 17th- Christians and Women- Why would God be ok with men treating women like property and having many wives? Does it not say throughout the Bible that you should not have affairs? I don’t recall Jesus talking nice to any women. Does God put men higher than women? According to Him are men better? Does God want mothers to stay home to care for their kids instead of going to work? When God says the wife is to be the keeper of the home does He want them to be the cleaners?
October 24th- Christians and the Unspeakables- Support groups. How should Christians deal with grief, depression, abuse, rape, etc and when will the church provide groups to help?
October 31st- Christians and Creation- Can evolution and creation coincide?
